5 Rapid Charging sites throughout the North of England are set to go live in the coming weeks.
The sites, all within Marstons pub carparks, have been installed by Powertek Utilities via the Rapid charging specialist Engenie.
Sites at The Sun Inn in Doncaster, the Greenfinch at Didsbury and the Tabard in Rotherham all went live at the end of March with 2 further sites at The Mustard Pot in Leeds and Hatfields in Doncaster all due to go live at the start of the summer months.
All works on these sites are being carried out by Powertek Utilities with new Low Voltage connections direct from the LV Network to each site required. All sites will have the capability for future expansion with additional load being built into the design.
Powertek’s in house resource will carry out all civil, cable laying, cable jointing, electrical and commissioning of these rapid charging stations each with a capability of charging at 50KW over 2 bays
