Approved Electricians
PowertekEV is one of the fastest growing EV charge point installers within the UK and we are on the look out for an Approved Electricians to join our electrical teams. PowertekEV are a Paisley based EV Chargepoint installer with contracts throughout the United Kingdom. We are installing a full range of EV chargepoints from home-charge units up to DC rapid-charge units for a wide range of clients and manufacturers and are looking to expand our team to meet this rapidly growing sectors requirements
You will be working under the electrical contract manager as part of our install teams, commissioning installs, auditing works to ensure our customers expectations are met and assisting in developing the business in this fast moving sector
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified 18th Edition Approved electrician with EV experience although full training will be provided.
You must be outgoing and able to work away from home. As our business grows you will be able to assist in the growth and adapt and advise on changes within the sector
Requirements:
- C&G 2382-18 L3 award in requirements for electrical installations BS7671:2018 (Or equivalent)
- C&G L3 award in the initial verification and certification of electrical installation (2394 or equivalent)
- C&G L3 award in initial and periodic inspection and testing of electrical installations (2391 or equivalent)
- C&G 2919-01 EV Charging
Desirable:
- Compex
- Forecourt work experience

- OLEV installation experience
- IOSH Managing Safely

- DNO electrical experience
- Electrical Engineering qualification
